Dr. Wilson founded Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital in 1982. Originally from Winston-Salem, Dr. Wilson graduated from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Dr. Wilson has enjoyed all aspects of veterinary practice for over 30 years.
He and his wife, Pamela have been married for 34 years and have two children. Their son, Steven, is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England and their daughter, Stacey, is attending Wake Forest University. Dr. Wilson enjoys all four family pets currently 3 dogs and a cat. The household menagarie also includes six bantam Wynadotte chickens. Away from work, Dr. Wilson enjoys being outdoors. His hobbies include sailing, scuba diving, skiing, flying and beekeeping.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association(AAHA), the American Veterinary Medical Association, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine.
