Technicians and Assistants


Sarah was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina,  moving to Raleigh in August 2009. She attended NCSU and graduated in 2011 with her bachelors degree in Animal Science. She  currently owns three animals, two cats named Kit and Boodles, and an english bulldog named Kenobi. Her hobbies include pet sitting, singing, attending music festivals and concerts, and watching movies. Sarah says the best thing about working at Bayleaf is being able to do what she loves. She loves helping animals and caring for them, “It is the best feeling knowing you have helped an animals quality of life and the clients as well.” She also says the staff at Bayleaf are amazing and she enjoys being surrounded by such an amazing work family.

Brittany, RVT

Brittany is our lead technician who has been with Bayleaf for almost 10 years! She is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Britany moved to Raleigh in 2010 to go to NC State. She graduated from Penn Foster to become a registered technician. Her favorite part of working at Bayleaf is helping the animals and clients. Brittany has a horse named Spirit and 3 cats: Phoebe, Gracie, and Princess Stray Kitty. In her free time She  enjoys horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and reading.


Jacquee Genzlinger is from Austin Texas but considers the Triangle home. She has a bachelors of art in psychology and a masters of clinical psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill and plans to finish her PhD in the future. She is one smart person! Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the feeling of accomplishment when a pet who was sick gets to walk out the door to their family. In her free time she likes to read, watch movies, cook, and do logic puzzles. She has two German shepherds, Pepper and Roxie, and a black cat named Chief.


Morgan is a North Carolina native and has had a variety of animals all her life, from dogs and cats to horses and goats. She is currently enrolled at PennFoster to become a certified veterinary technician. In her free time she likes to ride her horse, watch TV, and work on building her trail Jeep.


Anna is from Chicago but considers the triangle home. She is soon set to graduate from Miller-Motte as a registered veterinary technician! Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is teaching clients how they can help treat and keep their pet healthy at home. She has a german shepherd named Bella. In her free time, she likes to hike, kayak, paint, and play soccer.


Carlee works as a medical assistant and a kennel assistant. You can depend on her to greet clients with a smile and be gentle with your pet. She has a kitty named Coconut and enjoys to play piano and run in her time off.


Ryan is from Puerto Rico and has been with Bayleaf for 5 years. He has years of experience in graphic art with a concentration in animation as well as has taken many courses focused on medicine. Ryan is always keeping things interesting as a class clown and will be sure to make you and your pet comfortable during your visit. He has four kitties named MauMau, Dobby, Gordito, and Dada.


Christine is from the Bronx, New York. She has over 14 years of experience in animal care and a degree in medical administration from Living Arts College. She loves giving special attention to pets in their times of need. She has two cats named Leo and Charlie and a bully mix named Gino.


LeLe is a veterinary assistant from Foxfire Village, NC. She has been in the veterinary field for 6 years and her favorite part is helping rehabilitate abandoned kittens. She also has 4 cats at home! In her free time she likes to read, sing, and listen to true crime podcasts.



When Connor is not taking care of your beloved pets, he is either training as a blackbelt in taekwondo or spending time with his pups, Bowser and Anubis. He enjoys going outside on hikes with his dogs. He especially loves Bernese Mountain Dogs and German Shepherds.


Jackson is a South Carolina native who has been in veterinary medicine for 10 years. He has spent time in general practice as well as periods in several different specialties but cardiology will always be close to his heart. When not at the office, he can be found with his wife and flat coat retrievers either playing brewery trivia, on the ice, or camping in the NC wilderness.
